Position Description – Overview
Lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategies for our beverage portfolio across Western Canada. Partnering with the Vice President, Marketing, this role is responsible for driving brand growth, consumer engagement, and market share through innovative, locally relevant campaigns and trade marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings an understanding of the Western Canadian alcohol landscape, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for building iconic brands.

Key responsibilities and requirements for the position include:
Regional Strategy & Execution:
· Develop, execute, and own regional marketing plans aligned with national brand strategies.
· Lead and execute brand activations, sponsorships, and experiential marketing programs.
Trade & Channel Marketing:
· Collaborate with sales teams to develop trade marketing programs that drive velocity in retail and on-premise channels.
· Optimize promotional calendars and point-of-sale materials to support sell-through.
Brand Management:
· Champion the brand in-market, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all consumer, customer, and trade touchpoints.
· Monitor brand performance and consumer trends to inform future initiatives.
· Manage regional marketing budgets and measure ROI on key programs.
· Manage marketing suppliers to maximize value, quality, and timelines across all spend.
· Own social media end-to-end: setting direction, managing content, and using performance to continuously improve and drive engagement.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
· Partner with national marketing, sales, insights, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and executional excellence.
· Support VP when working with agency partners and vendors in the development of creative and media plans.
Organizational Structure
Reports functionally to the VP, Marketing. However, this position will work closely with several areas of the business

Qualifications
· 5–8 years of hands-on marketing experience in beverage alcohol or beverage or CPG, with a track record of getting programs live in-market and not just planning them.
· Proven ability to turn brand strategy into execution that drives volume.
· Ability to show how to win with limited budgets and competing priorities.
· Comfortable owning the full funnel, from idea to sell-in to in-market execution and working closely with sales team to drive results.
· Capability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment, focusing efforts on initiatives that drive the greatest business impact.
· Experience managing budgets, working with agencies, and vendors, with a focus on squeezing maximum value from every dollar.
· Highly self-sufficient and resourceful: able to move quickly, solve problems on the fly, and get things done without heavy structure or support. This is not a position that will be micro-managed.
· Has experience leading packaging development from concept to print execution, including artwork development, supplier coordination, and ensuring regulatory and production readiness.
· Confident using data to make decisions (Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI an asset), but equally comfortable acting with imperfect information.
· Willing to travel across Western Canada and be present in market when it matters (events, launches, key customer moments).
· Flexible and committed during peak periods, including evenings and weekends when the business requires it.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
