As a Warehouse Operator & Painter, the successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will support the operations, performing his/her duties in a safely and timely manner.
Your day to day activities will include:
- Assist with shipping, receiving and inventory organization operations
- Operate the forklift to efficiently carry out product loading and unloading
- Stretch wrap pallets;
- Maintain clean work area and perform sanitation duties within the warehouse
- Assist in paint area with moving, painting and packing of painted items
- Complete and comply with all Health & Safety training relating to the job;
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Perform other warehouse duties as required and assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
- Painting and assembly of products
The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a general laborer position
- Previous experience in a distribution environment
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and stack 50 kg boxes & bags
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and problem solving skills;
- Reliable and dependable with the ability to work overtime on occasion
- Able to work in environments subject to dust allergens as well as in all outside weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
- Customer service experience
- Team orientated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
