Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Tester Supervisor to oversee the ice cream production process in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role involves supervising quality control measures, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of food processing and sanitation practices, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a reputable company committed to excellence in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily ice cream production operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Oversee food testing procedures to verify product consistency, flavor, and texture quality
Manage packaging processes to ensure proper labeling and presentation of finished products
Coordinate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production deadlines
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols throughout the manufacturing process
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies, coordinating with procurement as needed
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
Maintain detailed records of production activities, quality checks, and safety inspections
Operate and monitor continuous freezer equipment to ensure proper product freezing and quality standards.
Supervise and assist with Clean-in-Place (CIP) washing procedures, including safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitor production processes and equipment performance to maintain efficiency and product quality.
Handle and lift materials, ingredients, and finished products weighing up to 10–15 kg as required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 10–15 kg.
Comfortable working in cold environments, including freezer areas.
Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation products.

Experience

Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred, especially within food processing or packaging roles
Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is essential

This position is integral to maintaining high standards in ice cream production while fostering a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, technical proficiency, and a commitment to excellence in the food manufacturing sector.

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
