Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the successful candidate will provide support to the Senior Administrative team.
The successful candidate will excel at assembling and coordinating meeting packages, preparing and distributing agendas and minutes of board meetings and committee meetings, following up on action items arising from meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. A demonstrated ability and willingness to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position. Sensitivity to confidential matters with a high level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy are paramount.
The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and divisional needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide calendar management for the Senior Administration team. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
- Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising sound judgement.
- Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Trustees. Arrange and handle all logistics for Board meetings and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials; and record meeting minutes. Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding Board matters.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the Superintendent/CEO's ability to effectively lead the organization, including but not limited to assisting with special projects.
- Work closely with the Senior Administration team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up appropriately.
- Ability to work on and prioritize a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Provide event management support as requested.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
- Prepare speaking points and other materials for policies, educational matters, project memos, and other communications, as necessary.
- Ability to answer telephone inquiries and transfer calls to the necessary areas.
- Review and update the website as required.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Office experience in a senior administrative position.
- Business training or administrative diploma preferred. Skills to be updated regularly to stay current with new technology.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Suite.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
