Aesthetician / Front Desk Coordinator:

Studio You Cosmetics is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Aesthetician / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. This dual-role position combines providing exceptional aesthetic services with delivering an outstanding client experience at the front desk.

We are looking for someone who is a highly skilled waxer with experience performing brow laminations, lash lifts, and lash and brow tinting. Previous experience in medical aesthetics is considered a strong asset; however, we are willing to train the right candidate if you are an asthetician with interest in medical asthetics.

The ideal candidate must hold, at minimum, an Aesthetician diploma/certification, with a Medical Aesthetician diploma preferred. They should be passionate about client care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working both in the treatment room and at the front desk.

Responsibilities

Perform professional face and body waxing services with the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and client care.
Perform brow laminations, lash lifts, and lash and brow tinting services.
Assist with or perform medical aesthetic treatments based on experience and training.
Provide personalized skincare consultations and recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products.
Educate clients on treatment plans, products, and aftercare instructions.
Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a warm, welcoming, and luxurious experience for every client.
Work at the front desk by greeting clients, answering phones, responding to emails and messages, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing client check-in/check-out.
Assist with maintaining appointment schedules and supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Promote retail skincare products, memberships, and treatment packages through genuine client education.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, reception, and retail areas in accordance with health and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure an exceptional and seamless client experience.

Qualifications & Skills

Aesthetician diploma required; Medical Aesthetician diploma preferred.
Extensive experience with face and body waxing is required.
Experience performing brow laminations, lash lifts, and lash and brow tinting is required.
Experience in a medical aesthetics clinic is preferred.
Experience with laser treatments, advanced facials, microneedling, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare is considered a significant asset.
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating exceptional client experiences.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Comfortable working in both a treatment room and front desk role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment.
Experience with retail sales and recommending professional skincare products is an asset.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
