(A)Esthetician with Ontario College Diploma.
Must be proficient at: Massage, Facials, Wraps, nails etc.
MUST be also willing to split time between Spa and Restaurant Duties.
Restaurant Duties, primarily will be as a Server, Host, secondary as Dishes and Room Service.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time Job and one must be willing to commit to a longer time period.
Yearly Pay is $69,000 which includes $34,219 Yearly Salary and including $34,780 in Equivalent with taxes paid and PRIVATE Studio Apartment (Sink,Fridge) and Food of 3 meals a day at Staff Kitchen. Expectation is you work 40.0 hours per week, with Shifts ranging from 3 hours to 13 hours, up to 11 days out of every 14 days working. Where Room and Board is already deducted from pay. You will live in your own Private Studio Apartment Accommodation, private (shower and toilet) washroom, with one Double bed. And Gym, in-room Streaming Internet, and more at no extra cost.
NET (after all taxes and fees are paid) Take Home Pay Per Year = $28,624 for your car/cell phone/personal debt/savings/fun. Typical and Usually 1 to 2 days off per week.
Resort is Closed Twice with PAY:
1) Pre May Long Weekend; May 11th to 15th and
2) for Christmas December 18th to 25th.

We have 34 staff here on site, 11 staff commute from within the community. Some new and many here with 20 plus years with us. Several Staff with us on-site for the last 4-9 years. This was a good year for us as 5 Staff Members returned to work with us again, after a move to another job, they did not plan on returning but they did, which we are all grateful for. Currently I have 2 other people that are on a waiting list to enter work for a job with us when the next opening in their field opens up.

We can help provide the following:
A) Meals Included 3 meals a day from our Resort Kitchen. Please bring your own glass/plastic meal containers and Coffee/Tea Mugs.
1) Accommodation has 1 Double bed (bring your own sheets pillows and towels and Cleaning supplies), has closet and a fridge and sink. Private Shower and Private Washroom.
1B) Accommodation has a 40" LED TV with Free Cable. Air Conditioner and Heating.
1D) Will be a No Charge for care of accommodations, if No extra cleaning required on departure. Please ask Maintenance Manager, if one wants to hang anything as there may be a $500 fee if not meeting our standards.
2) Please Bring 2 Pair Black Dress Pants (not tights and not jeans) black socks and black shoes for Restaurant. Spa Uniforms provided Free for the first 3 months.
3) Free Laundry Machines, bring Laundry detergent Pods.
4) Free Wifi Internet Streaming
5) Free Access to Gym
6) Free Access to Algonquin Park with Daily Pass from Office.
7) Free use of Canoes, Kayaks, Mtn Bikes, Tennis, Snowshoes, Ice skates (may be limited to time and use by guest use) $10 per session for fishing boats.

Restrictions: DRUG and ALCOHOL FREE for Work. No Children, No Pets (cats/dogs/etc), No Smoking nor Vaping nor Incense in Buildings. No Cooking or Heating equipment in Rooms.
3 Smoking areas outside: Behind Laundry, Beside Kitchen, and at Staff Fire pit.
For fun there are 4 areas for Chilling:
1) The Gazebo/FirePit with wood included.
2) The Staff House #1 Common TV Area.
3) The Staff House #2 Library.
4) The new Bat Cave Rec Room with Billiards.

#5) How do you interpret our Company culture with the following story: " I Hired a good friends work colleague of many years to be with us. This person showed up for one shift then got impaired and missed the start of next shift. I had the manager fire that person. That person didn't think I was reasonable, yet I gave them an extra day to become non-impaired and exit staff accommodations on the next day, safely."
#6) Can you answer this complex problem for me:
"A New Staff reads question #5 then answers it in an affirmative way that this is a safe culture and appropriate action taken. Then within weeks they are impaired and time-clock into to work and shortly after want to discuss why they were immediately terminated." It is complex for our Team, as it is seems strange, that they would want to move here for 2 days as in question #5 or for a couple weeks as in this case. If you cannot answer why people might do this, it is ok. After decades of experience I am at a loss to, but if you have any insight we could all use the help to understand. Some interesting answers that I have read are that these people are 1) Functional alcoholics, 2) Afraid of authority 3) Delusional 4) Think that we are a rehab destination.
Please, for yourself, if you require several alcoholic drinks every single day (one can add Cannabis here as well), and you cannot find time in a Month not to have an alcoholic drink or have Cannabis ( to be dry) then there is a high chance you are either one of these types of people in #5 / #6 and I recommend that you do not waste your time with us as you are a disservice to the other staff here that would count on you, and you would not blend into our Culture. Functional alcoholics can often hide their disease while working, but living in group housing on-site, is a functional alcoholics place of failure.
#7) Are you willing to be in a Shared Accommodation for up to 3 Weeks, until a Private Accommodation becomes available?
