About Montessori Happy Minds:
Montessori Happy Minds is an early childhood development program for children ages 4 months-12 years. Our philosophy is based on the Montessori method of learning while incorporating the Alberta Flight Curriculum and Waldorf approach. Our program offers full -day and half- day academic and extra-curricular programming as well as before and after- school care programming enriched with a variety of fun activities. Montessori Happy Minds recognizes children as mighty learners and citizens, as capable, curious, resourceful, and rich in potential, which affirms each child’s right to be listened to, to be treated with respect, and to participate in daily decisions that affect them.
In Montessori Happy Minds we believe in, Gardner’s theory which emphasizes that all intelligences are equally valuable. Different situations require the use of different sets of intelligences.
