ABOUT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

Salary: $75,282.52 - $103,366.67 * The salary for this position is currently under review as part of AGLC’s broader Non‑Union Compensation review, which is intended to support alignment with market practices. Compensation details for this role may be adjusted following completion of the review.

JOB SUMMARY:

Do you thrive in dynamic, hybrid environments and have a knack for solving high-impact data puzzles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As an Integration Analyst, you will play a vital role in molding our integration platform to meet the evolving digital needs of our organization. You will work with IT leadership, cross-functional squads, and external vendors to create secure, scalable hybrid and cloud-native solutions. Your enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology and proven technical leadership will inspire development teams across AGLC.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

Build Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain modern integration flows using MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
Own the Architecture: Implement secure internal and external-facing APIs, establish identity frameworks, and set up complex integration environments.
Automate Cloud Space: Script advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates to guarantee uniform cloud deployments.

Technical Leadership & Strategy

Guide and Mentor: Provide advanced integration expertise to stakeholders, mentor peers through code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
Translate Tech for Business: Turn abstract technical issues into easily understandable, risk-assessed terms for business partners and IT leadership.
Drive Project Success: Contribute to project scoping, master plans, and high-accuracy effort estimations for Statements of Work (SOW).

Operational Management

Optimize Pipelines: Manage and monitor enterprise production pipelines using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to prevent threats and scale performance.
Solve Critical Incidents: Lead deep root-cause analysis and resolution for high-impact production bugs, including providing occasional after-hours support when needed.
Assess New Tech: Perform formal product and tooling evaluations to give authoritative recommendations to leadership on new frameworks.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

The ideal candidate will bring:

A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience developing and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
Technical Leadership: Experience leading or coordinating technical project work, including providing guidance on solution design, delivery planning, and implementation activities.
Enterprise Integration Expertise: Strong knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns, microservices architecture, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, and cloud-based integration platforms.
Software Development Skills: Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, including Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python.
Messaging and Data Technologies: Experience working with messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ, as well as relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server.
Industry Certifications (Asset): Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MuleSoft Certified Developer, and/or MuleSoft Certified Architect certifications are considered assets.
