Description: We are seeking a hands-on leader to serve as the Senior Production Manager, with full accountability for all production operations across our manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day production performance, compliance, and operational decision-making related to the production of all BAM products. The Sr. Production Manager will ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant operating environment aligned with the company's objectives.
The Senior Production Manager leads the Production Supervisors and Manager and plays a critical role in setting expectations, driving accountability, and discipline. This individual is expected to, at times, act individually by exercising sound judgment, proactively identifying issues, and driving solutions across production operations. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Compensation & Benefits:

- Holiday Bonus: $1,000 (pro-rated based on start date and active days worked)
Work Schedule:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
· B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
· 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
· Demonstrated experience leading teams with full accountability for operational outcomes.
· Strong knowledge of cGMP and HACCP requirements in a regulated environment.
· Experience reviewing and approving production documentation in a regulated manufacturing setting.
· Proven ability to make sound, independent operational decisions and manage competing priorities.
· Strong communication, writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with electronic production, maintenance, or quality systems is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
· Own end-to-end production operations, including sanitation, manufacturing, material management, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and health & safety.
· Provide direct leadership to Production Supervisors/Manager, setting clear expectations, priorities, and performance standards.
· Ensure adequate staffing across production functions; participate in hiring, onboarding, and succession planning, as needed.
· Ensure employees are appropriately trained and that training records are complete, current, and compliant.
· Ensure the safety of employees, equipment, and facilities, and promote a strong safety culture.
· Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and company standards.
· Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Production Planning, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant production operations.
· Work closely with the Production Planning team to ensure production schedules align with sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and operational capacity.
· Lead and support production-related investigations, including deviations, complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions, in collaboration with Quality.
· Ensure deviations are identified, reported, documented, and resolved in a timely and compliant manner.
· Review, approve, and maintain production documentation, including SOPs, Master Batch Records, validation documents, and investigation reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational usability.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production to improve efficiency, strengthen compliance, and enhance operational systems.
· Use operational data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within production operations, and take decisive action where needed.
· Set and reinforce a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within production teams.
