Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation, exceptional kitchen skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality pizza and related dishes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant environment where culinary expertise and attention to food safety are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food handling procedures
Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Serve customers with professionalism and ensure their dining experience meets quality standards
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, preferably in fine dining or the food industry
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
Experience with menu planning, catering, or meal preparation is a plus
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in team-oriented environments dedicated to quality food service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
