We are hiring a Skilled Laborer to support our multi-family home building in Thunder Bay, Ontario
Modstruct Inc is a construction company based in Northwestern Ontario. We build structures for residential housing and we take pride in our work.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, physically capable, and willing to help wherever needed. The Labourer plays an important support role by helping keep tthe jobsite clean and organized, assisting with general shop tasks, running materials and equipment between the yard and job sites, and supporting the carpenter and joining in carpentry work.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the jobsite
- Assist with general labour and helper duties around the shop as required
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment between suppliers and job sites
- Support crews with basic tasks to keep work moving efficiently
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
- Work as a skilled labourer doing basic carpentry work at the direction of the Supervisor/Foreman
Job requirements
- Valid Class G driver’s licence
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to take direction and help with a variety of tasks
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Able to work in a physically active role
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
