Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is presently recruiting for a
TALKING TOGETHER PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
(External Posting – Contract Ending March 31, 2027)
Thunder Bay, ON
The Administrative Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to the Talking Together Program, My Journey Back Home and Mang-Otawin for all administrative duties undertaken by NALSC. At times, the Assistant may be required to assist other departments of the corporation or take on additional duties where the Corporation assumes additional projects.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education
- Some experience as an administrative assistant in a professional office setting such as a law office, political organization, or the public sector.
- Understands need for confidentiality
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Satisfactory written and oral communications skills including computer skills
- Ability to speak the Oji Cree language preferred
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and ability to use Data Bases), and superior typing
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational abilities are required
- Criminal record check is required
- Ability to speak Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibway an asset

Location: Thunder Bay, ON
Hours: Full-Time Contract (35 Hours Per Week)
Starting Salary: $40,040 Annually
