As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and creative Marketing Associate to join our team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Marketing department, the Marketing Associate will support Polaron’s brand presence, digital channels, event participation, and content strategy. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about clean energy and impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
Coordinate exhibition and event participation with organizers, vendors, and exhibitors
Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project execution
Assist with trade show planning, logistics, booth setup, shipping arrangements, and on-site coordination
Support the creation of marketing materials, product displays, and presentation content for events
Manage event scheduling, registration, and post-event follow-up activities
Social Media & Content Management
Manage and maintain company social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), and other emerging channels
Develop content calendars and schedule posts across multiple platforms
Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics, reporting on key trends
Stay current on platform algorithm changes, trending content formats, and best practices
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Conduct competitor research and analyze market trends to inform marketing strategy
Monitor industry developments in the clean energy sector and identify new marketing opportunities
Gather insights on customer behaviour, branding trends, and campaign performance
Prepare reports and recommendations to support marketing direction and positioning
Copywriting & Creative Support
Write marketing copy, promotional materials, blog posts, newsletters, and campaign messaging
Assist with scriptwriting for videos, product demonstrations, and social media content
Collaborate with designers, sales teams, and external agencies on creative projects
Additional Responsibilities
Support influencer collaborations and partnership outreach initiatives
Assist with product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities
Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with a high degree of organization
Qualifications
Required
2+ years of work experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, as this role requires managing Xiaohongshu (RED) and other Mandarin-language platforms, as well as communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners
Familiarity with both Western and Chinese-language social media ecosystems and content strategies
Strong multitasking, organizational, and project coordination skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma
Photography or short-form video production experience
Background in event marketing, trade shows, or B2B marketing environments
Familiarity with the solar or clean energy industry
Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000 – $50,000 annually
Additional: Performance bonus eligible
