As an Administrative Support I within our Regional Community Mobilization Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties for the Community Outreach branch of Regional Community Mobilization.
What will your typical day look like?
· Provides administrative support, including typing and composing routine letters, memos, reports, etc. using word-processing and spreadsheet computer applications software; proofreads documentation as requested.
· Coordinates the registration process and maintains registration lists for community events and training courses. This includes preparing, collating and photocopying training material, recording test results from participants, preparing and distributing confirmation notifications and sign-in sheets.
· Maintains records pertaining to programs, e.g. Operation Provident/Identification.
· Takes, transcribes and distributes minutes of office meetings as required.
· Processes financial documents related to the current budget, purchase requisitions, petty cash, and expense claims; prepares course and seminar registrations; reconciles monthly credit card statements.
· Collects survey and Mental Health Act Apprehension data and enters into spreadsheet computer software.
· Maintains an up-to-date and accurate filing system.
· Answers telephone inquiries and distributes messages.
· Ensures appropriate level of office supplies is maintained and arranges for service/maintenance of office equipment.
· Sorts and distributes all incoming mail and processes outgoing mail.
· Performs additional duties as assigned.

You are someone with:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional office administration course(s) and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- Well-developed keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.

The hourly range for this temporary, full-time position is $27.38 to $40.25. Please note that this vacancy is to replace a regular, full-time member.
