Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise steel stud framing and drywall installation crews on active job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution
- Coordinate daily work schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Conduct quality control inspections to uphold safety standards and construction quality
- Oversee site safety protocols, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a culture of safety among team members
- Collaborate with project managers to review plans, update schedules using construction management software like Plexxis or ProCore, and track project milestones
- Manage on-site budgeting tasks such as material ordering, inventory control, and cost tracking using construction estimating tools
- Ensure all work aligns with schematics, specifications, and client expectations while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in steel stud framing and drywall installation within commercial or residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Plexxis or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, oversee quality control measures, and enforce safety protocols effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams, coordinate tasks, and motivate workers on-site
- Construction experience with a focus on steel framing systems and drywall installation techniques
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation
