We're looking for an In-House Designer who enjoys both creativity and execution—someone who can create effective designs, manage multiple projects, and bring ideas to life from concept through final production.
The Opportunity
As our In-House Designer, you'll create customer artwork, proofs, revisions, and production-ready files while helping ensure work moves smoothly from concept to finished product.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple projects, and producing work that is both visually strong and production-ready. You'll work closely with sales, production, and operations teams to support customer projects and help maintain efficient workflows.
Whether you're refining layouts, preparing proofs, troubleshooting files, or learning new production techniques, you'll play an important role in helping our customers achieve successful outcomes.
What You'll DoDesign & Project Execution
- Create customer artwork, proofs, revisions, and production graphics.
- Execute assigned design work accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple active projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Communicate internally regarding revisions, missing information, file concerns, and production requirements.
- Maintain company standards for file naming, folder organization, proof management, and version control.
Production Readiness & File Preparation
- Prepare production-ready artwork including proper bleed, sizing, resolution, colour setup, and file packaging.
- Provide prepress preparation and file setup.
- Identify and resolve common file issues before they reach production.
- Develop an understanding of company equipment, materials, and production methods.
- Collaborate with production staff to improve print accuracy and workflow consistency.
Process Improvement & Technology
- Explore tools and technologies that improve workflow efficiency and consistency.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks and recommend practical improvements.
- Support ongoing workflow and process improvements within the design department.
- Stay current with evolving design software, automation opportunities, and production technologies.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, production, and operations teams.
- Support smooth project handoffs and internal communication.
- Escalate workflow concerns or bottlenecks before they impact production.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, organization, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForSkills & Experience
- Diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in graphic design, production design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of print production fundamentals including bleed, sizing, resolution, color setup, file preparation, and proofing.
- Strong organizational, communication, and workflow management skills.
- Experience working in a print, signage, or production environment is considered an asset but is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation
$28–$34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
