We are looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team. This is a physically demanding, high-responsibility position working directly with dogs, customers, and daily shop operations, with lots of potential for growth.

We are looking for the right person who is ready to work hard, learn, and grow with our business.

Starting pay: $18.25/hr (with lots of potential for growth for the right person)

Hours: 5 days a week, 4-8 hour shifts (your choice!)

Responsibilities

Supervising daycare dogs and maintaining a safe environment.
Checking in clients, walking dogs, feeding meals, sending dogs home.
Answering phones, booking appointments, and interacting positively with customers.
Cleaning the shop thoroughly and maintaining a safe, sanitary facility.
Closing the shop at the end of the day.

Remains calm and proactive under pressure.
Can think on their feet and stay busy without being told what to do.
Takes pride in accuracy, safety, and cleanliness.
Learns quickly and wants to grow professionally.

Must-Have Requirements

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must be:

Available for closing shifts (requires staying until 7:00 pm.)
Able to walk dogs outdoors in all weather.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
Able to see what needs doing and take initiative.
Able to follow instructions and ask questions if unsure, rather than guessing.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Comfortable performing frequent cleaning, lifting, bending, and physical work.
Active and alert all shift (no sitting on your phone or waiting to be told what to do.)
Willing to learn and grow skills in animal care and shop operations.

Please Do NOT Apply If You:

Expect to sit around or be on your phone while on shift.
Are looking for short-term work or a slow-paced job.
Need constant supervision or someone to micromanage you.
Avoid physical tasks, cleaning, or outdoor work.
Complain about bumps, scratches, dog messes, or busy shifts.
Try to invent answers to client questions instead of asking when unsure.
Plan to compete with the shop or attempt to steal clients.
Are unwilling to follow shop rules and policies.
