As a Junior Business Analyst Co-op, you'll work alongside our IT and business teams to help improve processes, support AI and automation initiatives, and contribute to meaningful projects that make a real impact across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious, analytical student who is interested in business analysis, emerging technologies, and driving operational excellence. This is a full-time co-op role from September-December.
As a key member of our team, you'll gain hands-on experience by supporting business improvement initiatives through research, analysis, documentation, and technology.
- Attend stakeholder meetings and workshops, capturing meeting notes and tracking action items.

Assist with planning and facilitating brainstorming, discovery, and requirements-gathering sessions.

Support project coordination, documentation, status tracking, and communication activities.

Follow up with stakeholders to help ensure projects stay on track.

Participate in innovation sessions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Document current and future business processes and workflows.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and process documentation.

Identify repetitive or manual tasks that could benefit from automation.

Help maintain organized knowledge resources for the business.
- Research emerging AI technologies and automation tools.

Test AI prompts, validate use cases, and assist with proof-of-concept projects.

Help build and test simple automation solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Apps, and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Support pilot projects that improve productivity through automation and AI.

Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through technology.
- Research software solutions, business tools, vendors, and industry best practices.

Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution validation.

Support data preparation and cleanup for reporting and automation initiatives.

Analyze findings and provide recommendations to improve business processes.
- Currently enrolled in a Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related post-secondary program.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity for learning new technologies.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

An interest in business analysis, process improvement, AI, automation, or digital transformation is considered an asset.
