Another exciting Mason Group exclusive - If you are a CPA with strong technical accounting and project management skills, a passion for using technology, and a relentless drive to figure out the "why" behind the numbers, this unique 2-year contract opportunity could be exactly what you're looking for. You will play a key role in solving a complex operational accounting puzzle, helping transform manual processes into streamlined, scalable solutions that will have a lasting impact on the organization.

If you're the type of CPA who gets excited by complex accounting puzzles, enjoys challenging the status quo, and loves finding smarter ways to work, you will thrive here. You will lead the redesign of a critical accounting process; bridging operational and financial systems, introducing automation, strengthening controls, and creating lasting improvements. This hands-on role is your chance to apply your accounting knowledge, technology skills, and process improvement mindset to a full-time 2-year contract that will have a meaningful impact across the organization.

Requirements

A Canadian CPA designation or equivalent is required.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, ideally including those appropriate for a non-profit.
5+ years of total experience including a role in full cycle accounting AND project management experience implementing and automating a significant process change in a reasonably complex environment
Experience communicating with an audience across multiple departments within a company.
Detail oriented, highly adaptable, self-motivated and personable.
A passionate change agent who is comfortable being in the driver’s seat and leading the project.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with a high degree of business acumen.
The ability to deal respectfully with all people and situations with honesty and integrity.
