We are currently seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Educators to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to be part of a positive, supportive daycare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support RECEs and supervisors in implementing age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences
- Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Help maintain a safe, clean, inclusive, and caring classroom environment
- Supervise and engage with children in a positive and respectful manner
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and supervisors
- Follow Westport Daycare policies and procedures
- Comply with applicable health, safety, and child care requirements under the CCEYA
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Child and Youth Worker, Education Assistant, Recreation, Social Service Worker, or related background is an asset
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification, or willingness to obtain
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, caring, and professional
- Passion for working with children and supporting early learning

- Full-time and part-time positions available
- 8-hour shifts may be available
