Our Client is a well-established and trusted name in auto body repair and MPI direct repair collision services, known for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service, and they are currently seeking a Red Seal, Automotive Painter.
Your Role
As an Automotive Painter, you will work closely with the production team and be responsible for prepping and painting vehicles.
Required Experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must have Red Seal Certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Spray polyurethane & basecoat – clearcoat.
- Be able to spray different qualities of paint.
- Knowledgeable with various paints.
- Help to ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair& Sandblaster.
- Hammering out dents, filling, filing, grinding, sanding, and glazing.
Required Tools, Equipment & Licences
- Red Seal in Automotive Painting
- A Valid Class 5F drivers license.
- Tools of the trade.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
