DIGITAL MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Are you a creative marketer who enjoys bringing science to life through customer engagement and digital marketing strategy? MSP Starch Products’ Microbiome Division, Solnul®, is looking for a Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to help grow the commercial presence of Solnul®, by balancing strategy with hands-on execution across a wide range of marketing initiatives.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will lead the execution and day-to-day management of marketing initiatives of Solnul®, and future products within the Microbiome portfolio. The role will serve as a key contributor to company growth by supporting brand development, strengthening customer engagement, and ensuring consistent execution of all marketing programs.
Marketing & Brand Communications
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing and communications initiatives across the Microbiome Division.
- Create and manage content including newsletters, email campaigns, webinars, promotional material, website content and digital assets.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality brand messaging across all communication channels.
Social Media Presence
- Manage and execute social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and industry platforms.
- Develop engaging content that supports scientific storytelling and commercial growth.
- Monitor industry trends, customer activity, and competitor initiatives to identify strategic opportunities.
Event Marketing
- Coordinate trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer events, and industry engagements.
- Oversee event logistics, promotional materials, scheduling, and vendor relationships.
- Support public relations activities and external brand communications.
- Track event outcomes and coordinate post event follow-up activities.
Customer Commercialization
- Assist in the development of distributor and customer-facing marketing materials.
- Support product launches, partnership initiatives, and co-branded marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful go-to-market activities.
Administrative Support & Reporting
- Monitor marketing performance, customer engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Assist with reporting, marketing operations, budgeting, invoice processing, and vendor management.
- Collaborate with other Marketing team members and cross functionally to leverage technology, automation, and analytics.
What You Will Need:
- University degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of applicable work experience in marketing communications, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong written communication skills across digital, social, and customer-facing channels.
- Experience executing digital marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, website content, and promotional material.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously, with minimal supervision within a virtual team.
- Passion for science, health and nutrition, and natural products is considered an asset.
- The ability to work with AI tools is considered an asset.
