Experienced Drone Pilot - Winnipeg
Responsibilities
- Safely operate drone systems for exterior building washing and cleaning operations
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, risk assessments, and site evaluations and weather
- Plan flights in accordance with TC regulations, municipal and company procedures
- Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and operational reports
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment care, inventory management
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients
Required:
- Valid Transport Canada Advanced Drone Pilot Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of professional drone flight experience
- Strong understanding of aviation safety and risk management
- Clean driver's license
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to acquire drone liability insurance
- Ability and willingness to work some shift work
Preferred:
- Level 1 Complex Operations Pilot Certification
- Experience with, inspections, surveying, mappings, or industrial drone operations
- Experience operating drones in commercial or industrial environment
- First Aid/CPR certification, WHIMIS (can be obtained)
- Experience working with the public
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
