The primary focus of the Warehouse Shipper is to support the company for goods shipped from or received into MacMor Industries Ltd. in ensuring all goods received or shipped are in good order and correct. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of end to end production order fulfillment including scheduling, tracking and monitoring orders.
Positions Duties and Primary Responsibilities:

Arrange and prepare for dispatch of goods and keeps pertinent records

Assist customers and provide exceptional customers service at the front pick up counter

Prepare bills of lading
-
Verify receipt of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records
- May weigh articles to prepare for shipping

Ensure that shipping area is safely maintained in a neat and tidy fashion at all times

Pick, count and compare quantity and identification numbers of units against shipping order or invoice
-
May be required to perform other job-related activities as assigned
Skill and qualifications:

Forklift license required
-
Experience working in a customer facing environment, providing excellent customer service

Be able to work under pressure to meet production needs at peak times
-
Experience in the use of a handheld inventory gun

Proficient oral and written English communication skills.

Able to take instruction from supervisor
-
Must be able to communicate well to work within a team.

Experience working in a physically demanding environment an asset

Safety boots are required for this position

Must be able to lift up to 23kg (50lbs) several times throughout the day

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (General Education)

2+ years of related work experience

Intermediate computer knowledge (Windows operating systems, Microsoft, email, internet, etc)

Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills
