Garnett Industries Ltd. Is looking for experienced, full time (seasonal) Water and Sewer Pipe layers for the busy 2026 construction season in Saskatoon. We are looking for outgoing, adaptable individuals looking to learn and grow within our team and industry. Minimum 8 hours per day,10+ hours most days alternating Saturdays in all weather conditions. Pipe Layers must be experienced in all aspects of sewer and water installations, Follow directions from the Foreman and Superintendent and be willing to take a leadership role within the crew. This is a skilled position that requires a person who is consistent, reliable and able to show up fit for duty every day. A high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude towards safety are a must.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to:
- Laying and joining concrete, HDPE and PVC pipe and fittings for drains, sewers and watermains.
- Inspect piping.
- Rigging pipe for hoisting.
- Hand expose utilities.
- Cut and bevel pipe.
- Take grade shots, read grade stakes and cut grade using laser level.
- Shoot in grade levels with tripods and shot rods.
- Prepare and grade trenches manually with shovel or by working within close proximity of excavators operators.
- Complete backfill of piping using compactors, jumping jacks and plate tampers.
- Install manholes and pour concrete.
- Assist with testing the quality of product.
- Ensuring all work is completed within specifications and according to blueprints or building plans.
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior team members.
- Participate in toolbox talks and perform hazard inspections.
- All other duties as required and directed by Supervisors
- Clean Drivers License an asset
