Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk /Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships .This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Duties

Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in data entry.
Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Utilize accounting software such as UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Sage, or ADP for invoice processing and reporting.
Assist with payroll processing as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to accounts payable.
Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software such as UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Sage, or ADP is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors.
