Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Stress Technician, where you'll play a vital role in evaluating cardiac function through stress testing procedures. Your energetic and precise approach will help physicians diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular concerns. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes. You will be responsible for preparing patients, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are meticulously followed to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional cardiac care.

Duties

Prepare patients for stress testing procedures by explaining the process and ensuring they are comfortable and informed
Monitor vital signs continuously during stress tests, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels
Operate stress testing equipment such as treadmill or pharmacologic stress systems with precision and confidence
Record detailed physiological data and interpret diagnostic evaluation results for accuracy and completeness
Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained according to safety standards

Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to cardiology procedures.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring systems to track patient heart rhythms during stress tests
Ability to accurately assess vital signs and respond promptly to abnormal findings during testing
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
