Associate Psychotherapist Independent Contractor Role (Open)
(Oshawa/Toronto/Ottawa/Markham/Online)

We Require:

Master's degree in Counselling Psychology/Psychotherapy/Social Work and registration with CRPO (Full or Qualifying) or OCSWSSW (RSW).
Available to work: A minimum of 5 direct client hours per day for 3 shifts per week in-person
Professional and ethical practice following all CRPO or OCSWSSW requirements
Maintenance of own client files and required documentation (e.g., notes) following the clinic procedures
Management of schedule and client communication
Able to commit to 1 hour per month for a team meeting
Proof of Liability Insurance as required by College

Strong communication skills, ability to communicate professionally and with compassion to clients with patience when dealing with challenging clients
Confidence to share ideas and constructive criticism to help us grow
Juggling multiple projects and to-do’s simultaneously is no problem for you — you work well under pressure, meet deadlines and keep promises

Tech savvy (we are 100% online)
An appetite for innovation and simplicity, who is highly process-oriented
Working autonomously comes easily to you, but you also love collaborating with a talented team
Considerable experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Google Drive Suite, Gmail, Dropbox, Mac,and Windows in a work environment
Knowledge of JaneApp scheduling software is an asset, but not mandatory

Bonus if you have:

Completed or in the process of certification for Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Sex Therapist (CST), Trauma Certification, or Certified First Responder Certification (CFRC) or similar.
Fluency in another language (Mandarin/Cantonese/French)
Able to offer couples counselling using EFT/Gottman approach
EMDR, ART, or Somatic Reprocessing training/certification
Training in Internal Family Systems, Dialectical BehaviouralTherapy, or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
