Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting geotechnical engineering projects by conducting field and laboratory tests, collecting data, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction practices and a keen eye for quality inspection.

Responsibilities

Conduct field investigations and collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples for analysis.
Carry out construction inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Monitor construction activities to verify that quality control measures are being implemented effectively.
Document data collection processes accurately and maintain organized records of findings.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support project development and execution.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Knowledge of construction practices, methods, and materials relevant to geotechnical engineering.
Experience in quality control processes and quality inspection techniques.
Proficient in data collection methodologies and documentation practices.
Familiarity with construction inspection protocols and standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
