Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently
- Deliver concrete to construction sites in a timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Complete daily hazard assessment and electronic hours of service using Samsara and SiteDocs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck (interior and exterior)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with minor maintenance and report mechanical issues
Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License.
- Clean 5 year commercial driver’s abstract.
- Must have previous experience operating a Concrete Mixer Truck.
- Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Strong work ethic
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and overtime
- Physically fit (ability to climb, lift, and work outdoors in various conditions)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Employees must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
