Job Title: Delivery Driver (D License) *
Starting between $21-$23/hour

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport tile and construction materials to residential and commercial job sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are delivered accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle inspections prior to leaving the warehouse
- Ensure all required delivery paperwork is completed and carried, including driver logs and shipping documents
- Safely operate company vehicles and maintain accurate driver log records (kilometers, departure and arrival times)
- Follow site sign-in procedures upon arrival
- Assess delivery areas for safety and accessibility before unloading
- Coordinate with site contacts and supervisors if delivery conditions are not safe or accessible
- Safely unload and deliver tiles and materials to designated areas within the site or residence
- Verify materials and quantities against delivery documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of the job site and delivery areas after unloading
- Assist with identifying and collecting approved return materials when required
- Refuel vehicles as needed to prepare for future deliveries
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid G Driver’s License (must meet company insurance requirements)
- D License required
- Clean driver’s abstract (past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Completion of Worker Awareness and WHMIS training (may be completed after hire)
- Previous experience in a construction or warehouse environment preferred
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier is an asset
- Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to safety, organization, and customer service
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, and snow (when deemed safe)
- Overtime may be required during peak periods
- Physically demanding work involving lifting, bending, carrying, and standing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Use of dollies to transport heavier loads as required
- Frequent walking, stair climbing, kneeling, squatting, and driving
Additional Requirements
- Ability to read site plans, addresses, and safety signage
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions on-site
