$25.00 – $27.00 per hour
24 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Jordan Lane General Contracting is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our growing team in North Vancouver. This is an in-person position offering 24 hours per week, working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Online, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage administrative and bookkeeping functions in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
- Enter vendor invoices, receipts, and expenses
- Maintain accurate job costing records and allocate expenses to projects
- Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll administration and employee benefit documentation
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist management with financial reporting and project tracking
Office Administration
- Maintain company records, filings, and administrative documents
- Coordinate permit submissions and documentation with municipalities
- Track project-related invoices, receipts, and outstanding items
- Assist with employee onboarding, apprenticeship, and training documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and city officials
- Support project managers with administrative tasks and construction software updates
- Help maintain an organized and professional office environment
Marketing & Business Support
- Assist with website updates, project photos, and project highlights
- Support social media updates on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Houzz
- Research and maintain subcontractor and supplier databases
- Follow up on trade quotations and pricing requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (required)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based businesses is considered a strong asset
- Payroll experience is an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
