We are looking for a Senior Building Technician to join our operations and maintenance team at the Calgary Courts Centre.

Location – Calgary, AB

Your role

Perform the scheduled preventive maintenance and general maintenance on the mechanical/electrical systems, HVAC systems.
Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs as per tenant requests.
Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
Perform daily walk throughs of mechanical areas.
Assist coworkers with job tasks and repairs.
Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and practices.
Coordinate with office staff and team members to schedule repairs and related tasks.

About you

A 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate from ABSA is required. 4th Class would be preferred, 5-10 years of experience.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems for office and warehouse facilities, including BAS systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Must be willing and able to work after hours and weekends as required and to be available for standby rotation to respond to after-hours service requests.
Ability to make effective technical decisions in emergency situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Must have valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Must be able to obtain a valid security clearance.
