Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience and familiarity with various types of machinery are highly desirable. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse equipment including Highway tractors, Dump Trucks, a variety of trailers (livebottom and pup), machinery, a variety of vocational trucks, HVAC systems, and more.

***HOURLY PAY IS NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE***

40-44 hrs per week

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel engines and industrial equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Perform maintenance tasks on heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to complete repairs
Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on complex systems
Operate heavy equipment safely during repair or testing procedures
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
Assist in assembly or disassembly of machinery as needed
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Requirements

Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge of a variety of heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment
Experience working with schematics, electrical systems, HVAC components, and welding techniques is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Capable of performing heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for Dump Trucks, Highway Trucks, and a variety of trailers
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Team oriented
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
