Job Summary:
Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts is seeking a passionate and experienced casual Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for weddings, corporate events, retreats, and special occasions.

Duties:

Prepare and cook banquet and event menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist with food preparation, plating, and service for weddings, conferences, and special events.
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Support the Executive Chef and culinary team with daily kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and banquet teams to ensure successful event execution.

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of culinary experience in banquets, catering, hotels, or restaurants.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
Food Handler Certification is an asset.
