Job Overview

Calgary Outbound deliveries:
Accepting load tenders from clients, load building, booking appointments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery, assign shipping dates to orders, tendering/calling out / advising carriers of loads, consolidating loads.

Duties

Proof Of Delivery’s
Over, short and Damaged (coordinating with request for return pick-up)
Creating BOL’s numerous clients
Out of Town Deliveries:
Build and progress Trips in the Freight System.
Update Delivery Status for specific clients and request of delivery change
Update OTM/K-motion where applicable.
Liaison with carriers for day-to-day operations, issue resolution, following up on missing delivery appointments and POD’s.
Filing and updating weekly split sheets
Maintain SOP’s.
Interaction with internal and external customers.
Work closely and as a team with Warehouse Coordinators, Supervisors and AR/AP Billing Coordinator.
You will also need to multitask with other job duties as assigned.
Coordinate with client’s issues and concerns.
Accepting load tenders from clients, load building, booking appointments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery, assign shipping dates to orders, tendering/calling out /advising carriers of loads, consolidating loads, load manifests, attaching carrier pro stickers.

Skills

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

Experience 1-2 years
Shift is Monday-Friday 830am-5pm with occasional Overtime as required
Interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate professionally and promptly with customers and team members
High level of commitment
Self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to manage requests and revisions from various sources
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize tasks
Intermediate or higher computer skills

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
