Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled person to join our vibrant culinary team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful, delicious baked goods and confections, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Your expertise will help delight our customers and elevate our food offerings through innovative cake decorating, precise food preparation, and efficient packaging. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a fast-paced environment where creativity and attention to detail are celebrated.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and confections, adhering to established recipes and standards

Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic flair using various cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
Handle food production tasks such as mixing, baking, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently, following standard recipes
Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for retail purposes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients

Team Leadership

· Provide daily direction, training, and support to bakery team members.

· Assist with onboarding and coaching staff on baking techniques, food safety, and workplace procedures.

· Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive working environment.

· Allocate tasks and monitor workflow to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting
Supervisory Experience
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen
Experience with food packaging, presentation, and portion control
Prior kitchen experience in restaurants or bakery environments.
