We are now hiring an Executive Sous Chef at our Lansdowne Park location in Ottawa, ON. Our quickly growing company has plenty of opportunities for anyone looking for training, development and a career in restaurants and hospitality.

What You’ll Do:

As a key player within CRAFT, you will support our mission to make our team, our community, and our world a better place one beer, one meal, one experience at a time. Being a part of this mission will include:

Ensure all food and equipment inventory is accounted for and secured upon closing the kitchen.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to all cooks within the kitchen, assisting with work, training, and development, including overview and updates on policies and procedures.
Create work schedules for all kitchen staff and assign work and duties accordingly.
Conduct pre-shift meetings with front and back of house, communicating upcoming functions for the whole day, products that are out/short, and daily features.
Always maintain composure and professionalism, ensuring kitchen personnel are supported and prepared for peak hours.
Follow proper reporting procedures for accidents and incidents
Execute daily meal periods, build relationships with FOH counterparts

What You've Done:

2-3 years of kitchen/restaurant experience 
1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef, or comparable
