What You'll Do
As a Technical Counter Sales Representative, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting store operations, inside sales, and warehouse activities.
Customer Service & Store Operations

Greet walk-in customers in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner

Assistcustomers inidentifyingproducts and solutions that meet their needs

Build hydraulic and pneumatic hose assemblies using company tools, equipment, and training

Maintain store inventory levels, product displays, and merchandising standards

Help create a clean, organized, safe, and inviting store environment

Participate in technical and product training programs provided byWainbeeand vendor partners

Communicateaccurateinformation to internal departments including Purchasing, Credit, and Technical Services

Supportadditionaloperational activities asrequired
Inside Sales Support

Respond to customer phone calls and emails in a professional andtimelymanner

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

Enter and manage quotations within company systems

Follow up on quotations and customer inquiries to support sales growth

Assistcustomers with product availability, order status, and delivery information
Warehouse & Inventory Support

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders and branch transfers

Support inventory management and stock replenishment activities

Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines

Operate within safe warehouse practices and equipment requirements

Helpmaintainaccurateinventory and an organized warehouse environment

Qualifications
Required

Mechanical or technical education and/or proven experience in hydraulics and/or pneumatics

Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
Assets

Experience in industrial distribution, counter sales, or customer service

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic products and systems

Experience building hose assemblies or working with industrial components
-
Familiarity with inventory, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes

Experience using ERP systems and sales order processing tools
Physical Requirements

Moderate physical activity throughout the workday

Abilityto regularlylift upto 40 lbs.
