Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of daily retail operations, including sales, staffing, inventory, and customer service.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performance team while managing scheduling, performance reviews, and staff accountability.
Drive sales through merchandising, promotions, and community engagement in alignment with marketing initiatives.
Provide an exceptional customer experience, offering knowledgeable cannabis product guidance tailored to customer needs and preferences.
Maintain strict compliance with provincial cannabis regulations, health, safety, and security standards.
Ensure accurate cash handling, daily reconciliation, and banking.
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, inventory control, and federal reporting.
Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment that reflects the values of Quartz Creek Cannabis.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain long-term loyalty.
Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to expand sales and strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in retail or customer service management, with a proven track record of team leadership.
Strong background in staff management (hiring, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluation).
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Strong cash-handling skills and comfort with POS systems.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry and embrace change with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of cannabis products and passion for the industry.
Must hold a valid Selling It Right certification and be 19+ years of age.
Proficient with Mac OS, Numbers, Pages and comfortable learning new software an asset.
Proficient with Greenline POS, Dutchie e-commerce and Canva Design platform an asset.
Professional, approachable, and customer-service oriented.
