Regalton Rental Group is a locally owned growing vacation rental and property management company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high-quality properties throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality.
We're looking for a dependable, energetic, and hands-on Property Operations Assistant to support our day-to-day operations.
Position Summary
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys being on the move, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining high-quality guest accommodations. You'll help keep our properties guest-ready by delivering supplies, performing minor repairs, inspecting properties, and responding to operational needs.
No two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver linens, toiletries, and supplies to properties.
- Pick up and purchase materials from local suppliers.
- Perform minor handyman tasks, including, but not limited to replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, assembling furniture, changing locks, and basic repairs.
- Conduct property inspections before and after guest stays as needed.
- Report maintenance issues and assist with coordinating repairs.
- Support cleaning teams by delivering supplies when needed.
- Respond to urgent operational requests.
- Help prepare new properties for guest arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid Nova Scotia driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle required.
- Candidate must be physically fit and can comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs; this includes, but not limited to: beds, couches, media stations…etc.
- Basic handyman and DIY skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance, hospitality, construction, or facilities management.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, or carpentry is an asset.

Employment Type
- Full-Time:
o Approximately 40 hours per week
- This job will require some evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
- Work locations primarily include vacation rental properties throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality with occasional travel to Bridgewater and Truro.
Compensation: $22 – $28 per hour, based on experience.
