Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food safety, food handling, and cash handling within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes.
Use Micros POS or similar systems to process orders efficiently and accurately.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and serve beverages in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Assist in setting up the bar area before service and cleaning up after closing hours.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
Adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper food safety procedures.

Skills

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal age requirements.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests professionally.
Hospitality-oriented mindset focused on creating a positive guest experience. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can enhance your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement while contributing to a lively social atmosphere.
