Brock Canada is looking for a
Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Nisku. This is a great opportunity for someone who is early in their accounting career and looking to gain hands-on experience across month-end reporting, reconciliations, sales tax filings, intercompany invoicing, audit support, and day-to-day finance operations.
This role is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a strong foundation in corporate accounting within a fast-paced industrial services environment.

About the Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of a Finance team that supports accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, tax filings, intercompany transactions, month-end processes, and audit preparation.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of accounting activities and work closely with internal teams to ensure financial information is accurate, well-supported, and completed on time.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, including bank accounts and prepaid expenses
- Assist with accruals by gathering information, preparing entries, and ensuring proper supporting documentation is in place
- Prepare invoices for intercompany transactions
- Prepare and file GST and PST returns
- Enter transactions into SAP Business One
- Support the preparation of year-end review files for external auditors
- Gather project accruals and provisions information as required
- Assist with document control and finance-related record keeping
- Provide support to the Finance department and other internal teams as needed
- Participate in special projects related to Finance
- Communicate professionally with employees, internal stakeholders, and external contacts
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring

- A Business Diploma or Degree, or be working toward one
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Professional, clear, and concise communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with an accounting system or enterprise resource planning system is considered an asset. Experience with SAP Business One is also considered an asset, but not required.
