Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a dynamic setting focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving times for food and drinks
Uphold all restaurant policies related to food safety, alcohol service, and hospitality standards

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality background is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
