Bring your passion for people and performance to La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. As a Sales Professional, you’ll help customers find furniture solutions that fit their lifestyle while delivering exceptional service and representing a trusted brand known for comfort and quality.
You’ll engage customers through meaningful conversations, product demonstrations, and confident guidance throughout the buying process — all while working toward sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment. Collaborating with store leadership and teammates, you’ll help create a welcoming, customer-focused showroom and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture. An interest in interior design or a second language is an asset.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and engage customers to understand their needs, lifestyle, and design preferences
- Guide customers through the sales process, from initial consultation to completed purchases
- Deliver detailed product knowledge and demonstrations to help customers make informed decisions
- Create a positive, stress-free shopping experience that reflects the La-Z-Boy brand
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom at all times
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership to achieve individual and store sales goals
- Accurately process orders, payments, and documentation, utilizing our systems
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Stay current on product offerings, promotions, and company policies
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations

What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary education in sales, business, design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education or relevant hands-on experience
- 1–5 years of customer-facing sales or retail experience, preferably in a commission-based or consultative environment
- A customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Experience working toward individual and team sales goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Confidence using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
