We are on the lookout for experienced an Maintenance Foreman, Senior and Junior Landscape Site Foremen/Women and Lead Hands to lead and manage our commercial landscape projects. Ideally, with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience, we are looking for individuals who are hardworking, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring smooth project execution. Maintenance Site Forman Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance operations for commercial properties and municipal parks, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and appearance.
- Coordinate and direct crews in mowing, pruning, planting, weed control, and seasonal cleanup activities.
- Monitor productivity, and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Train crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best landscaping practices
Site Foreman/Woman Responsibilities:
- Act as the on-site leader, directing daily activities of labourers and equipment operators while leading by example in workmanship, productivity, and professionalism
- Assign tasks, plan daily and weekly work activities, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to drawings, specifications, and company standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the crew, Site Supervisor, and Project Manager, communicating daily progress, challenges, and manpower needs
- Oversee and participate in landscape construction work, including hardscape and softscape installation such as interlock and concrete pavers, retaining walls and steps, grading and base preparation, soil placement, sod, trees and plant material, drainage, and site servicing
- Monitor quality of work, identify deficiencies, and correct issues in a timely manner
- Enforce all company and Ministry of Labour health and safety policies, including conducting or assisting with daily tailgate/toolbox talks
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and safe operation and maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; identify site hazards and take immediate corrective action
- Coordinate daily equipment, tool, and material requirements; monitor material usage and report shortages, damage, or issues
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required
- Interpret drawings and relay instructions clearly to the crew to support accurate execution of work
- Assist with time tracking, production reporting, and site documentation
Lead Hand Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Foreman by leading assigned daily tasks and directing labourers and equipment operators within designated work areas
- Carry out work plans provided by the Site Foreman, assign tasks to crew members as directed, and monitor progress to ensure efficient and accurate execution
- Lead by example in workmanship, productivity, professionalism, and safe work practices
- Oversee and actively participate in landscape construction work, including hardscape and softscape installation such as interlock and concrete pavers, retaining walls and steps, grading and base preparation, soil placement, sod, trees and plant material, drainage, and site servicing
- Monitor quality of work within assigned tasks, identify deficiencies, and correct issues or report them to the Site Foreman
- Assist in enforcing company and Ministry of Labour health and safety policies, including participating in daily toolbox talks
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and safe operation of tools, machinery, and equipment; identify hazards and report or address issues as directed
- Assist with coordination and care of tools, equipment, and materials, including proper use, basic maintenance, and reporting shortages or damage
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive job-site culture while maintaining high productivity and safety standards
Both Roles:
- Promote teamwork, accountability, efficiency, and a positive job-site culture
- Train, mentor, and support crew members in construction methods, safety procedures, skill development, and performance improvement
- Provide performance feedback and guidance for crew members
- Operate all types of landscape machinery and hold a valid G driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
