Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel, agricultural equipment, and custom metal products using GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete quality work.
- Inspect, grind, and finish welds to meet company quality standards.
- Safely operate shop equipment, hand tools, and overhead cranes.
- Accurately complete production documentation and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Work collaboratively to meet production schedules while maintaining excellent attendance.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of welding experience.
- Current CWB certification (Flat Solid Wire & Metal Core).
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and metal fabrication.
- Detail-oriented with pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada (LMIA sponsorship is not available).
- Local to Central Alberta or willing to relocate.
Schedule
- Night Shift (currently 5:00 p.m. – 3:00 / 4:00 a.m.)
- 8–12 hour shifts, depending on production requirements
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Active participation in company safety program
- Follow safety protocol including wearing of required PPE and understanding and application of safety policies, procedures and practices

We offer competitive starting wages beginning at $24-32 per hour, with final rates determined by your experience, skill level, and how well you align with the role.
