Hart Family Veterinary Clinic is growing, and we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team.

We are a busy, well-established small animal veterinary clinic in Prince George, BC with a strong reputation, an amazing client base, and a genuinely supportive team. We take pride in providing high-quality medicine while also keeping our clinic culture friendly, collaborative, and down-to-earth. We work hard, we care deeply about our patients and clients, and we believe in supporting each other through the busy days.

This role would be a great fit for an RVT who enjoys using their skills, being part of a team, and contributing to a clinic where techs are valued and trusted.

As part of our team, you can expect to be involved in a wide variety of patient care, including anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, lab work, sample collection, hospitalized patient care, client education, emergency support, medication administration, and detailed medical record keeping. You will also assist with estimates, invoices, inventory, instrument preparation, sterilization, patient restraint, and helping keep the clinic running smoothly throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are very important in this role. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in excellent patient care, treats clients with kindness and professionalism, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

RVT designation is preferred. Experience in a veterinary technician or technologist role is an asset, and wage will be based on experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Some on-call and weekend availability will be required as part of the role.

Wage: $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
