Description complète du poste

Role Overview: Lead the operation of an Achieva After School Program. Supervise staff, plan daily programming and provide homework assistance to children ages 4-12.

Required Qualifications:

Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
Experience working with children
Leadership and organizational skills
Experience leading groups and activities
Ability to assist students with K-6 homework.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary education completed or in progress
Post-secondary interest or focus in: Education, Physical Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work, French, or related field
Previous supervisory experience

Assets:

French Immersion background or fluency
Activity planning experience
Experience completing documentation and reports
Staff supervision experience

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead daily activities
Organize activities involving: STEAM, literacy, French, recreation and parties
Manage attendance and daily operations
Complete incident reports and related documentation
Support team
Communicate with families, school staff and Achieva administration
