Location: Position is remote

Description of Role:

Must have Minimum 5 years brokerage experience.
CCS Designation is required

The Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that our operations teams meet both regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks. Their work is crucial for minimizing errors, ensuring smooth operations, and preventing costly penalties.

Review and confirm entries prior to being sent to CBSA’s CARM system for accounting purposes
Work with staff and branch managers on training sessions
Follow up with clients as required to ensure description and HS accuracy
Database maintenance including updating special instructions and classifications
Vet documents to ensure compliance with CBSA and all other regulatory agencies. Examples Include CUSMA certificates, licenses, certificates, and other import documents.
Stay current with upcoming regulatory changes impacting the Willson International client base.
Advise staff on the classification, valuation and import requirements of merchandise. Complete and accurate tariff opinions including duty rate and SIMA scope checks are routine.

Knowledge and Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma is required. College Diploma an asset
Must have minimum five (5) years Customs Brokerage experience
Strong working knowledge of ITMR, ECM systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, word, Outlook
CCS Designation is required, CTCS preferred
